Vitamin C - The Crucial Active Skincare Ingredient

Vitamin C is one of the most powerful antioxidants for the skin, to maintain a healthy body and healthy skin. It slows down the aging process, and prolonged topical use has been clinically proven to regenerate collagen and improve the appearance of wrinkles. Vitamin C also lightens pigmentation, brightens overall skin tone and protect us from the harmful UV rays.

Unfortunately, our body is unable to synthesize vitamin C found within glucose due to the lack of the specific enzyme. As a result, we rely heavily on dietary intake for our basic supply of vitamin C found mainly in citrus fruits and dark leafy greens.
